Animals are unpredictable things, and so our life is unpredictable. It's a long tale of little triumphs and disasters and you've got to really like it to stick it.

Last few weeks

Been a while since I updated. Had a good holiday - relaxing but bankrupted me. Disappointed my tan is fading already.

Just finished my 12 days straight of pig AHEMS. Went back to University of Leeds farm near Bramham - very glad I did - such lovely people, no bitches there woohoo. It was hard work, but rewarding even if I did stink to high hell everyday. Definitely helped with my weightloss since the pigs are kept at 30 degrees celsius - think I sweated a stone off. Only problem - my fingers have all swelled up - not good at all since I start dairy on Monday. Possible think it may be a bit of Carpal Tunnel as I've been pressure washing loads. They are so sore and stiff.

Dairy for 12 days on Monday is at the University farm. I've paid £120 for a room for one week in halls on Hawkshead campus as I don't get the keys to our new house until Aug 15th. Looking forward to moving in, even though I drew the short straw and got the downstairs bedroom.
